[English below] Es ist mittlerweile Herbst geworden in St. John's, die Tage werden kürzer, die Nächte kälter, und das Laub auf den Bäumen hat heute nach einem morgendlichen Regenschauer gelb-rot in der Sonne geleuchtet. Doch wie der Titel dieser Eintrags besagt möchte ich heute von einer Wanderung mit Johannes, Mama und Laura erzählen, die uns am East Coast Trail von Petty Harbour Richtung Süden geführt hat. Johannes und ich waren mit Rucksack und Zelt unterwegs und haben am Miner Point Campground übernachtet. Am nächsten Tag sind uns dann Laura und Mama engegengekommen, und wir haben den Rest des Tages gemeinsam den Trail genossen. Es war eine schöne Wanderung mit spektakulären Wellen, und schönen Ausblicken... Einige Photos sind weiter unten zu bewundern, eine komplette Diashow gibt es hier.
The days are getting shorter, the nights cooler, and the leaves on the trees were shining in brilliant orange-yellow after a morning shower today. Fall has clearly arrived in St. John's, but today's post will take us back to an overnight hike I did with Johannes back in August, when him and Mum were visiting us for three weeks. Laura and Mum dropped us off in Petty Harbour and headed south to Miner Point Campsite, where we spent the night. The next morning we met up with them again and spent the day enjoying the trail together. It was a beautiful hike with spectacular seas crashing onto the rocks...
