Als Clyde und ich heute von St. Philips aus zu einer kleinen Runde mit dem Kayak gestartet sind gab uns noch ein besorgter Spaziergänger noch ein "Wouldn't to go out there today. God bless you!" mit auf den Weg. Der Wetterbericht hatte starken Wind angekündigt, daher waren wir entsprechend vorsichtig, doch den Spass in den entsprechend grossen Wellen liessen wir uns dann doch nicht nehmen (schade dass die Fotos die Wellen nie wirklich gut darstellen)...
When Clyde and I took off from St. Philips for an afternoon paddle, a concerned looking guy walking his dog noted "Wouldn't to go out there today. God bless you!" as we headed out of the harbour. The forcast called for up to 30 kn winds, so we were intent on being careful, but not without having some fun in the waves... It was a great afternoon (too bad you can't really see the waves in the pictures...).
